WCRF International 2025/26 grant call

World Cancer Research Fund International will be launching a new grant call for 2025/26 on 8 September. We accept research applications focusing on the role of diet, nutrition (including body composition) and physical activity in cancer prevention or cancer survivorship. Key dates Outline application stage for both grant calls:
Full application stage: January 2026 (IRC), February 2026 (RGP) Regular Grant Programme (RGP) Applicants should be senior established researchers and can be based in any country outside of the Americas. In addition to our standard remit, this year we are accepting studies investigating environmental exposures relevant to cancer, provided they are ingested dietary or drinking water contaminants. More information on the eligibility and the scientific scope of the grant call is on our webpages. INSPIRE Research Challenge (IRC) Applicants should be early career researchers (2-7 years post-PhD or equivalent higher research degree) and can be based anywhere in the world. In addition to our standard remit, this grant call welcomes applications investigating other modifiable exposures including stress, sleep, immune function and environmental exposures.
